Introduction to Loss Elimination (LE)- See the loss, eliminate the loss and keep it from coming back.
- LE is a process/set of tools to eliminate losses
- It is leadership managing the standard that will keep it from coming back
LE is a simple process/set of tools to eliminate losses. Not checking standards is causing NVAA.
Loss Elimination Objectives and Deliverables.
- The Loss Elimination provides a process and set of tools that enable leaders to create a way for the organization to systemically eliminate losses 24/7, building robust loss elimination capability into every individual.
- Eliminate losses and drive stability in equipment, material, people and work processes.

Standard LE Workshop Approach.
- Day 1 (full day):
- Welcome, Site Logistics and Introduction
- LE Introduction PP
- Review problem statements and align teams
- LE with team on the floor use appropriate (hard copy) job aid
- End of day 1; recap with teams & align on next actions
- Day 2 (full day):
- LE on the floor with team
- End of day 2 recap with teams & align on next actions
- Day 3 (half day):
- LE on the floor with team
- Close out with teams and business leaders
